Race Readiness for Swimmers, Team Managers & Coaches
Our Race Readiness Workshops accelerate confidence and compliance for schools new to licensed competition.
Delivered by a specialist team, including a qualified Swim England Referee and stroke & turns judges, the session demystifies meet flow (warm-up, marshalling, starts, call-room), explains disqualifications in plain language, and provides live, practical feedback from an officials’ perspective.
Swimmers receive guidance on the biggest DQ hotspots - starts, turns, underwater phases, stroke legality - while Team Managers and coaches learn roles, timelines, paperwork, and on-the-day best practice.
You leave with a targeted coach fix-list and a clear operating checklist so athletes race cleaner and more confidently.
How it works:
-
Assess & tailor - Pre-workshop call to profile squad age/experience; gather recent video or meet notes; align objectives (swimmers vs Team Manager/coach track).
-
Deliver & drill - On-site workshop covering meet flow and DQ law; lane-side practicals on starts/turns/underwaters; Team Manager briefing and mock marshalling; Q&A with the Referee.
-
Embed & improve - Written coach fix-list by stroke, a Team Manager meet-day checklist, and optional follow-up check-in before the first licensed meet.
